Flexibility and a Sense of Humor

The name of the game on this trip to Italy! It has been a week of unexpected turns and twists but that is what is so fun about travel! Right? Just a few highlights .

As you know, when we come to Italy to work (never feels like work!) we always take a quick side trip before our return to see something new. This time it was the Amalfi Coast. Just past the season, it is a bit quieter, affordable and just two quick train rides from Rome a travel book suggested. No problem!

After working into the early afternoon with our partners in Rome, we grabbed our bags and rode the subway to the terminal and caught our train to Naples with seats assigned, so far so good. On the second train, Circumvesuviana, tickets can be purchased only right before the train and the expected ride, we are told, is about an hour with a few stops before Sorrento, our destination. This train can be found in the basement of the Naples terminal. No problem!
